Has anyone ever considered the "de facto" discrimnation in colleges and universities by Marists vs others. Today about 80 % of faculty are Marists, and hire only other Marists when positions open up. They have infilitatted the system to advance theis own agendas. Some have never even worked in a real job, but went from college to graduate school to teaching. We need a quota system in our schools or some sort of alternative action to even out the political philosophies in out schools. I know some will cry bloody murder at this idea, but it is needed if the system is to be saved.

Yes, we will ned more medical people, but they will not come from U S schools. Take a look at the socialized medicine systems in England and ireland; most of the doctors come from India or Africa. And, Obamacare will be causing 40 % of our U S doctors to retire by 2013

Abortion violates the thical principle of "Double Effect". You cannot do a bad thing to accomplish a good thing. In other words you cannot use any means to accomplish your goal. However this is what the Dems are doing. How can anyone trust a person who is willing to kill a human life if it is inconvienent to them. Next thing woman will want the right to kill their husbands if the don't want them.

As the blacks move up into the middle class, they tend to become Republican. This is a trend that the Democrats ignored.
