I am senior citizen on MEDICARE with TRICARE FOR LIFE as a supplement. For us senior citizens finding a doctor to accept MEDICARE and by extension TFL is extremely difficult and when we do find one the doctor is either a walk in clinic doctor without hospital privileges or one that is desperate for patients for whatever reasons. I can think of one reason why doctors refuse to accept MEDICARE patients, a very good one, and that's because MEDICARE pays them barely 50% of the fees that they list as fair and reasonable in order to hold costs down. Now MEDICARE IS DEFINITELY A "PUBLIC OPTION" and it and TFL are constantly under attack to reduce costs, ie, payments, to doctors and increasing co-pays and deductibles for treating the elderly....
