cont'd As if the little punk walked into his local gun store and bought one legally off the shelf. It implies that if he couldn't have obtained such a weapon, he wouldn't have been able to kill so many. But again sense succeeds where emotion fails, 1) because the kid murdered his mom to get the weapon, he didn't buy it legally, and 2) is murdering Only 10 or 15 innocent children with a different type of firearm really less tragic and more palatable than murdering 20? But what speaks loudest against the gun grabbers are the facts about crime rates. The crime rates in cities with the toughest gun controls laws like Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, etc when compared to crime rates in CCW states. cont'd below

In the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting we all knew that an impending gun debate would be a hard fought battle. Just after this week’s hearing on Capitol Hill, a new Forbes study finds that the NRA is winning the influence battle over gun control. In the new study performed by Forbes Insights, an independent and unbiased organization, they found that the “NRA and the pro-gun rights voices are winning the influence battle and will continue to be strong and more influential if the pro gun control voice remains fragmented”.
