In CA, we just finished a solar power (hybrid) plant which is located in Victorville. It cost $86 million and covers 46 arces of desert. The solar part of the power plant will power only 3,200 homes because the solar works 21% of the time; not at night or early morning or evenings and not on bad weather days. The solar plant is really a hybrid plant. The Natural gas part of the plant has 90% efficiency. Because of it's solar component, it becomes eligable for government financing and tax breaks. This is another greenie boondoggle and expected to raise double your electric bill.

Don't forget wind turbines. They kill thousands of endangered birds a year. But since the feds are feeding the golden calf of green energy, no problem here. The Fish and Wildlife Service is either thinking, or indeed have approved, of permitting the killing of bald eagles to accommodate wind farms. If environmentalists don't try and stop this, then they're simply frauds.

The greenies did do something about the wind farms. They added bird protection to the turbines. This increased bird deaths by some 40 %. Now that is science.

May be we don't need all these birds anyway. We may end up with a smarter bird that doesn't fly into turbines.

Well, obviously we need better bird-shields; how much intelligence does that take? For that matter, coal-burning plants wouldn't pollute the air if their managers would just put catch-traps on top of the smokestacks -- to collect, condense and cool the coal-smoke into a certain valuable product called "coal tar", which is extremely useful for making color-fast textile dyes. That doesn't take much intelligence, either. I'm constantly amazed at the stupidity of so-called Captains of Industry.

Climate experts from United Kingdom’s National Weather Service told the world that while is was not unusual for pauses in global warming that last for a decade to occur once every eighty years or so, there was no way that one could last for 15 years or more according to their climate model.

Oops. Their mistake, I guess.

Maybe that’s why when the United Kingdom’s National Weather Service updated their data and it showed that global warming has been paused for the last 16 years, they remained mum.

“The world stopped getting warmer almost 16 years ago, according to new...
