I'm not betting the farm on it, but there's a least a fighting chance that this could mark a turn-about for conservatives. Look at Obama's efforts to set up ways to evade it already. It's reassuring to note that the noises we get from the like of McConnell are along that line. Maybe, just maybe, this will induce Republicans to stop cringing and at least get back into the effort to take some primacy in the debate, and that should include more than just the RINO establishment. As the song says, I can dream, can't I?

The game in Washington continues.  Half-time is over and the players are back on the field.  Here we go again.  The Democrats have kicked off and it looks like the Republicans are trying to run it back.  Let’s see if this time they can play a little hardball.  Obama has got to play defense, let’s see where it goes.
