They (Islam and Judaism) may be rooted in the 'nearly' same tenets but fail to provide the reconciliation the world needed to God that Jesus, and He alone, gave by giving His perfect life as a ransom for those who believe. He is the Savior from which we have forgiveness of sins and hope of eternal life. Mohammed is a false prophet and the Koran falsely misleads people away from God, the Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier. Both Judaism and Islam are religions that require man's effort to save himself. The problem is: When have I done enough to know if I am saved? I can never know... and neither can you! But Christianity says rightly, and is proven historically as well, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ...

please don't bring the filth of islam into this discussion. And, no Judaism and islam are not rooted in nearly the same tenets. muhammad stole ideas from both Christianity and Judaism to try and give credence to a "new religion" with himself as it's "prophet" for power.

Every once in a while, we hear a false charge. A charge that has significance during this Lenten season of 2013.

It’s an old lie that seems to keep resurfacing. The accusation is that supposedly there is no historical reliability to Jesus as a person.

In other words, we supposedly can’t know for sure that He even existed historically.
