Most all of this 'transformational' upheaval movement bottled and encapsulated by the obama administration is a front against Almighty God, Father, (especially) Son and Holy Spirit. Everything coming (oozing) out of these like minded people is an assault to the principles put forth in the Scripture, "Be fruitful and multiply." Being fruitful has the connotation that through work/industry you earn enough to be able to afford the expanding next generation (our children, then their children, and so forth..) Work is a blessing (and a command) by which we what we have (mind and strength) to produce something of value or contribution for the good of those around us. That we barter or charge for these goods and services is the economy we live in.... thus we learn how to manage or operate according to the way work is designed to be. When you change the definition of work (or the dream attached to why we work), then confusion (such as we have now about work and its purpose) abounds and nobody wants to work except to tell others what, when and how they should work. These people are a 'church' unto themselves and place their (false) faith in matters that does not exist and are running this economy into the ground. I am amazed at how many people do not understand the blessing of a growing or expanding economy... the medical profession is a perfect example. The reason for the continual rise in medical cost is due to the new technologies born from research to better be able to care for patients. This has resulted in expanding job opportunities so that more people are needed and put to work in this industry. The computer industry is another expanding job market opportunity. Any industry that continues to invest in research and innovation to further grow the opportunities of that industry will with patience and persistence accomplish this. This can only happen if work (even hard work) is seen as a healthy means by which individuals can thrive and grow. Most government legislation in the form of regulations has stifled everything that is paramount to a thriving economy. Rather than legislate just laws simply applied equally to all for everyone's benefit, there seems to be no accountability for those who steal (ceo employer or employee), who do not produce, who withhold pay... Bankers or houses of investors, congressional committees who run these markets, who fail their customers/constituents by making bad investments should face the due penalties under the law...

Holy Men wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit to write... Scripture did not come about by the prophets' own interpretation. The laws of God are just and true for all time. To redefine marriage as something other than a man and a woman is perverted at its finest and shows the depth of depravity of those who push/force same-sex marriage on the rest of the hetero world...

Marriage is between a man and a woman Biblically speaking and according to nature or natural law in an untainted world where sin is not. But, since sin (those things that are an affront to God and not good for man) is in the world, sexual deviancy of all sorts 'seems' natural to most because sins' bent is to do the opposite of what God says is right and pure. To argue otherwise or to redefine marriage is to act out the perversion of a sinfilled heart. The message for all is to repent and turn to God through Jesus alone and He will turn to you and give you the gift of forgiveness and salvation and a new heart that seeks the truth of His Word.
Do these people realize what they are saying or understand the claims they make? Unfortunate and sad to say, it doesn't seem so.
A sensus literalus (literal sense) understanding of the Scripture is not a literal understanding of Scripture as many impose and imply. The Bible is the best/finest example of human (yet God breathed) literature on this planet. It is composed of all types and manner of writing to give the absolute best in human thought, divine as it is! It is also a "Lamp for our feet and a light for our path" to show us the way of salvation through Jesus Christ! God be praised!
Might I suggest that none of us were there in the 'beginning' of what we know about the earth, yet each of us will face our Creator (Jesus) in the end before we each go to our eternal reward, whether eternal blessings or curse.
"There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof leads to death." Much of the 'intellectual' left are absolute in thinking they are the only ones qualified to hold expert opinions, especially those who hold no Biblical worldview. What is not surprising is that, in the name of 'diversity', they are are the least diverse because they live in a closed system of thinking that does not allow the maximum information to be considered. Talk about closed minded and irrational! By God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, a child can come to know the Who, why and for what we have been created. Jesus Himself said, "Blessed is my Father for He has revealed these things to little children." Yet grown, 'educated' adults have no clue. Maybe that is why the Scripture says, "Those without the Spirit cannot (do not have the capacity) understand spiritual matters.." Ken Ham did a marvelous job in laying out the Biblical position for creation that can be enthusiastically used in scientific discovery/exploration for the good of mankind. That is, after all, why we are here! Thank you, Ken!

Preciesly.
So if a movie is played in a local theater, would that constitute a 'visit' to the state by the high paid actor and thus be eligible for this taxation? I would think this is appropriate and 'fair'... spread the tax bill joy around a bit! Maybe hollywood would think twice about their support for liberal politicians who confiscate to remain on the public dole....

There's a difference between doing what you do to get to heaven and what we are to do while in the earth. No one can earn their way to heaven. It is only by grace through faith in Jesus... Out of that faith do come good works we are to do... and Christians do seek to care for their neighbors, freely with no compulsion form Government, but because they desire to. Greed happens on both ends of the money spectrum. Proverbs speak quit a bit about the sluggard and those who have misplaced priorities who do not produce anything and yet want to live in the finest of comforts. Jesus also spoke about where and how to build a house that stands up to the storms that come. Building on falsehoods will breed destruction. Actually, hard work is rewarded by more responsibility and, yes, even more profits. For you or a government to determine how much is enough for a person is not playing a fair game by which everyone abides by the same rules.
