Good point. I'd say the two are very similar.

I don't think the choice is clear. I doubt Santorum would be overwhelmed- he never once appeared overwhelmed in office. He is also great on foreign policy such as Iran. But he has to get some wins. Right now it's all tied up in FL with Mitt pulling back in the lead. In the end, it will be ABO.

Just remember that Newt's toughness that gets the applause led to fewer republicans being elected. The backlash will be severe and may happen in the 2012 election against Obama.

With the help of Santorum. And the inside baseball of his dealings with conservatives throughout that time are very worrisome. We all hope the next Pres. Will have to interact w MANY conservatives.

Yes, and Newt sat on the couch with Pelosi- why? Global warming. He still has not explained that he no longer supports global warming. He has exactly espoused that it's bad science. Newt is a consummate modernist. He loves science and federal funding for NIH.

I disagree tha Romney is "the most conservative candidate.". But I do agree that he and Newt differ mainly in rhetorical style. Sadly, Newt has some patterns in his life that continue. One is undue and untimely attacks on true conservatives at the height of major efforts. See article "Gingrich and Reagan.". He attacked Reagan regularly and ruthlessly. Not to mention recent attack on our one hero of late, Paul Ryan. He never walked it back in a sufficient way.
The Pipeline is about jobs, jobs, jobs. Refineries cannot run by themselves.
An act, a ruse- Americans do have a responsibility to tune in. Obama is an out of touch elitist who has overplayed his hand this time. Too many governors and too many State Assemblies have lined up for Pipeline jobs. Let's hope the unemployed and under employed remember in November.
Apparently, the Senate has been in recess for three years or more, based on quality, anyway. Guess that's why we've needed so many czars and recess appointments.
