The NRA has been successful with Congress only because the people supported the NRA. Now,they're out to demonize the NRA and nullify their political strength,so they can get their gun control enacted. the leftists see their chance here.

I am heartened by the long lines of people trying to get guns, for personal defense.
Criminals and lawmakers are, equally, able to get them as self-protection.
Law abiding private citizens must now choose to join the criminals and lawmakers in abandoning the personal integrity MLK valued.
Criminal? Its all about me. Lawmaker? I deserve protection. Too bad about you. You cannot protect yourself. The guns a criminal has, and a lawmaker has, are on the workers' dime.

Guns keep us safe from both Despots and criminals. Fascinating to see how the anecdotes of lives being saved by private citizens, because they had guns, are absent in the news.
