the fact is don, that the GOP - to win the election - will need a candidate who will be able to speak to the center. As much as that makes ultra-conservatives mad, it's true. The center decides who wins. GOP needs a candidate who can intelligently and thoughtfully explain sound conservative principles to the center and not require presubmitted questions. Chris Christie (he has no interest tho), Colin Powell (yes, I know too center for many but would win in a landslide) , Bobby Jindal (doesn't have the flair but that guy knows his stuff!) Meg Whitman (awesome, not so great in a mini skirt) - the fact is, Palin is too polarizing, she would never win the center - ever. And she's making too much money in a safe place where she really...

her speeches and editorials are exactly what keeps supporting the fact that she's feather weight.
thisnt about me... the rebellious teenager is nothing new to parenting. I was one, I grew up with them and now my house currently has three and three "pre's" I am not damning her, fools pass harsh judgement, we all have our journey. I do know tho, if I had millions of dollars and one of my kids was going through what Bristol is going through. I would take a hiatus from work (because I could afford to) and clean up my own backyard. The girl is practically screaming (for the whole nation to see) for her mom. Its one thing to slowly give your teens freedom based on responsibility and maturity - its quite another to "have no idea" that your daughter is doing an interview with Greta. She has become a Hollywood mom, not the average, just like...

first example that comes to mind- ....Ummmm the Bush Doctrine and then waiting for Charlie Gibbs to give her a cue as to which policy. Absolute soft ball question - setting her up to display her knowledge about policies under Bush. But she didn't really know any. And it was twisted into that meanie Charlie Gibbs. Hey, I'm all for conservative policies and values. I'm also for candidates who can explain them and a leader who doesn't peddle excuses for inadequacies and Beat the Drum for Dumb.
well, what first comes to mind is letting her 18 year old live a tumultuous life as a national spectacle... for starters... head--in-the-sand parenting or a very "free-style" of parenting neither of which resembles good common sense, conservative, christian parenting. yes, mistakes happen and our kids aren't perfect - but for almost 2 years this poor girl's life has been a national spectacle. Shame on you big Momma Grizzley.
yes Ted but conspiracy theories sell, inciting anger sells. Unfortunately - they wont' solve our country's problems. I find it interesting tho how those in the center are thought to be wishy-washy. Primarily, those in the center see good in both parties. and I would have to say that the majority of voting Americans are looking for someone to provide real solutions to our country's problems and have the intellect to thoughtfully explain why. Persnally, I think conservatives would provide the strongest platform for good, solid growth - however, inciters like Palin who don't/can't explain conservatives solutions and why they would work take center stage with their mudslinging, turning off mature, rationale voters who prefer to vote for...
you mean the voters in her less than10,000 town of Wasilla? C'mon. We don't need no whiners in the White House!
p.s. because we live in the great country we do, we have the absolute right to our opinions, beliefs, values. To me a conservative who is able to work with the "other party" and in some cases may hold beliefs more central than polar does not make a lesser candidate. It says to me, that person is mature enough to handle situations w/out acting like a spoiled 2 year old... kind of like the real world where we have to work with all kinds of people and make compromises and heavens to Betsy, often those compromises turn out the best solutions. it would be a very sad place if we all thought the same, acted the same etc. I tell my son who is trying to figure out all this partisan crap - God made us all different and He did so for a reason. The...
