Thatcher's Death Marks the End of an Era

The British public have long used the pop music charts as a form of protest - remember God Save The Queen - and now they appearintent on forcing the BBC to play "Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead," over 70 years after it first appeared in the soundtrack to The Wizard of Oz, following a Facebook campaign to get it to number 1 following the death of Margaret Thatcher. The song is already in the top ten in the midweek charts, with more than 10,000 copies sold, according to Media Guardian, following the death of the former prime minister on Monday, aged 87. The Facebook group is called "Make Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead number one the week Thatcher dies", and it launched on Monday.
And herein lies the real power of America having its first African-American president and first lady: They are us.
"The first lady spoke of Hadiya Pendleton, the slain 15-year-old student, gunned down just blocks from the Obama’s Chicago home — and only days after Pendleton had attended the president’s second inauguration. With tears in her eyes, Michelle said, “Hadiya Pendleton was me and I was her.” The first lady went on to add that Pendleton’s family is “just like” her own. It was a display of empathy rarely seen from one so seemingly privileged. Yet for Michelle Obama it was the most natural thing to say. This is a daughter of the South Side — fully aware of her place in the world. Her tears appeared all the more heavy, because she could easily imagine Sasha and Malia walking down the same streets that Hadiya did.
That's OK, Bland Paul is going to continue speaking to African American Youth to convince them how grateful they should be to loser tarians.

Ann Coulter - Another aging, white, irrelevancy whose bitter ramblings lave lost their bite.

The Death of Genuine Debate

Not if they're not whining about it.
This budget is not like all the others. It is not a positional bargaining document, designed simply to rally the base at the outset of negotiations. One way you can tell is that liberal activists and congressmen are already screaming “sellout” at the White House for offering Social Security reform as part of a balanced plan to reduce the deficit and debt.
I'm not the one who posts the gay references time after time after time. But it's OK, it pretty much defines conservative men who post here.
Still waiting for more of your "buttboy" gay sex fixations.
I've never seen you post a verifiable fact yet. You are really predictable.
You're the one who constantly references gay sex. You don't have to pass psych 101 to know what your posts are really about.
