Phil M. is a terrific golfer, but didn't have enough sense to keep his mouth shut and just do his thing. hike. Instead he opened his mouth and became a target for the left-wingers. Now he has been "forced" to apologize. I wonder whether he will do anything in the end.

Remember that the wealth was not redistributed to the poor,, but to Mugabe's relatives and cronies and a lot into his personal overseas accounts.

He might do a good job in Zimbabwe, certainly no worse than the kleptocrat who now runs that benighted land.

How the NRA Stole Christmas

Compare Wayne LaPierre's comments to those of Jerrold Nadler whose press release makes two wild claims: “The NRA’s response to the Newtown massacre is both ludicrous and insulting, and they are fundamentally out of step with the American people on the issue of gun violence." What is senseless or ludicrous about defending school children from mentally deranged criminals? Most Americans do not agree that gun control would make much of a contribution to school safety. Nadler is a gun control fanatic and it would be a waste of time and energy to dialogue with him.

Where does this figure of 40% come from? Census reports show 14% of U. S. population to be blacks, 10% to be Hispanic (many of whom are White) and 2% Asian, American Indians and other minor non-white ethnic groups/ That amounts to 25%, not 40%. Where are the other 15%? The birthrate of Blacks and slowing Hispanic immigration make it unlikely that non-Whites will ever approach 40%. Enough of this Chicken LIttle nonsense.

Just as important as term limits would be a constitutional amendment barring Congressmen and Senators from drawing government pensions.
Incoherent and economically illiterate c lass warfare rubbish.

Chambliss May be GOP's Ultimate Test Case

Getting rid of the bum is the big challenge for us Georgia voters. Chambliss is not better than his possible opponents in the Republican party. He got in the Senate because his funding was ample and his Democrat rival for the seat was a dyed in the wool Liberal. Even Gingrich would be better although Handel and Price would be far better thasn Gingrich. My own favorite, Jack Kingston, does not look like a plausible contender.
No. Let's not join Obama in raising taxes. The Republicans should simply vote present when it comes to a vote. Not obstructing, not approval and definitely not a compromise. Introduce and pass measures to cut spending in the House--ethanol subsidies, corporate welfare, privatization of the Postal Service and Amtrak, abolition of of the Departments of Agriculture, Labor, Energy and Education.
