You forgot Washington when you listed the states which have approved gay marriage. That's where Jim Nabors and his long-time partner tied the knot recently.

Actually the eight states referred to in the article are not "marriage" states. There are nine of those, including Washington. The eight-state solution refers to the states that have marriage-like civil unions.
