.....represented a solid majority of loyal Americans to the left to get votes and stay in power. It deserves neither. The Tea Party is a wakeup call that sends a strong signal to the GOP to let it know it has crossed the line. It is an effort to incorporate a system of checks and balances that are no different than those built into the Constitution. It reminds politicians of progressive thought that there are definable boundaries to consider. Boundaries are necessary to keep us on the straight and narrow. Terry McAuliffe didn’t earn squat. He was elected under the same pretense as Barack Obama. The lion’s share of those who put him in office were only thinking of how they would personally benefit by the politics of his party. In other words their hands were outstretched with palms facing up.

Ken Cuccinelli beat himself. Star correctly referred to the WSJ article that mentioned his lack of campaign funds and unwillingness to defend him from attacks ads. But what I read in this article: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/10/22/New-Poll-Confirms-What-Republicans-Have-Known-For-Months-Cuccinelli-is-Losing-Virginia-Governor-s-Race mentioned that he deliberately distanced himself from the Tea Party. He wouldn’t entertain the nicest of efforts by the Tea Party to help him out of his conundrum. He stuck to what he thought would get him in office – the Republican Establishment. You know…that same Republican Establishment that has begun a war against the group who represents what the GOP used to be? Reaching out to other demographics is not realistic or profitable because they are so entrenched from the years of diligent programming by their parents and our government. Blacks generally vote Democrat because they have ALWAYS voted Democrat. They vote for whoever the black candidate is because they are typically racist and believe the black politician will somehow understand and sympathize with their plight. They vote for any candidate who promises to give them something and keep them on the public dole and off the rolls of the employed. Any black person who attempts to gravitate away from this long solidified position in life is castigated as a sellout or an Uncle Tom. They also believe that the responsibility for their economic and social woes lies primarily with spiteful, racist whites. Anytime they attempt to look up and see things more clearly, the Reverends jump in there and nail that coffin closed again. We can also thank the Democratic Party for demonizing anyone who would offer black people an opportunity to participate in the American dream. Conservative thought and values can be packaged in ANY color of skin and/or heritage. And it’s not just blacks. If illegal Latinos were slipping through the fence and running to Republican poll booths instead of Democrats handing out American taxpayer sustenance and empty promises of amnesty, the Administration would have plugged every hole, every tunnel, and every crevice that hinted of daylight along the US border with Mexico a long time ago. Like Blacks, Mexicans are being played by the left because it means votes - Nothing but votes to keep them in power. The Republican “Establishment” is nothing more than a fool’s errand. It’s a misguided effort to pull what was once a wonderful party that
We kicked their behinds twice for trying to take our guns. You bet he's steaming about it.
If they're legal, why does anyone need to justify owning an assault rifle. If I owned one, it may be because I feel like owning one and my reasoning doesn't concern anyone else. Why does someone buy a Mercedes or a Ferrari? Nobody really NEEDS that nice of a car. But if they think they do or if they just want to have one, why should they have to justify it to someone else who is repulsed by Americans purchasing real expensive foreign cars. I know one is a rifle and one is just a car but the principle is the same. Should those who drive Chevies petition the government to limit car purchases to American makes and models?
I agree. Piers was talking over him so much and didn't allow Ben to speak a full sentence.
