Sanction is one of few words in English that can have contradictory meanings. Sanction can mean to Give official permission or approval for (an action) or Sanction can mean to punish so as to deter. The quest of Homosexual activists is NOT for equal rights, because Homosexuals already have the same protections and rights granted by the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights that every legal American Citizen enjoys. What Homosexuals are pursuing is 'Sanction' in the sense of Official Permission and Societal approval of their chosen lifestyle.

Homosexuality has become more than a sexual preference in the United States, Homosexuality has become a Culture of perversion.

Culture is non-instinctive and Humans are not genetically programmed to learn a particular Culture.

Culture is cumulative and the more Humans participate in, or are exposed to this 'Culture of Perversion' the more "Normal" it seems to those whose beliefs are NOT based in absolutes or standards.

RG-What they fail to understand is that legalizing gay marriage will not gain them what they are looking for. Official Permission will not result in Societal Approval. Those who believe that homosexuality is wrong will still believe it's wrong, whether or not it is legal. They are destined for disappointment.
Hollywood and the American left love diversity, except when it offends their "progressive" value system.

Witness the reaction to actor Brad Pitt's mother, Jane, who publicly opposed President Obama's re-election. Mrs. Pitt's pro-life, anti-gay marriage statement to her local paper last week enflamed the Tolerance Mob. And her mere expression of dissident political views exposed the glittering hypocrisy of the left-wing "No H8" campaign.

In a letter to the editor for Missouri's Springfield News-Leader, Mrs. Pitt responded to another reader who argued that Christians should not support Mitt Romney because of his Mormon faith. Arguing for interfaith tolerance, she praised Romney's "high morals"...
