Is there really a need for H1-B? I sincerely doubt it. There are few countries on this planet that even approach our home-grown capabilities in any skill area that you can think of. A home-grown capability that is suffering both un-employment and under-employment. Those countries that have comparable skill levels are rarely the source of immigrants. Hi-B may sound good, but it is easy enough to prove it if there is a need in fact. Else it is pure B.S.
Please understand that Egypt has NEVER been a US ally. Previous administrations supported Egypt only to negate the Soviet influence. Theiir wars against Israel had a side benefit to the USA, we, courtesy of the Israelis, got tons of Soviet military systems and devices that we could design countermeasures for.

Reminiscient of the Interstate Highway System. A toll-free network, unless a state had started construction before its enactment. Take a look at Delaware. One shovel qualified to make Delaware the highest toll per mile segment for anyone traveling from Maine to Florida. Delaware has no sales tax, one of the lowest income taes in the East. Just call it 'highway robbery'. Oh yes, that is the home state now of our illustrious vice-president.

I wish the author had examined Susan G. Komen's published financial reports. Very little of their funds goes to cure breast cancer research. In fact, they sue anyone that they believe is infringing on their 'turf'.

To Hell With Charity? (Part 2 of 2)

Before one makes decisions about the charitable deduction, it would be very interesting to see real numbers on which income levels can even avail themselves of that deduction. I rather doubt that any family with an adjusted gross income of less than $50K gets any benefit. And that number might be more like $100K. The sad thing is that 'charity' has become 'Big Business', with CEO's having bloated salaries and perks. Few givers have even the faintest knowledge about how their donations are being used. I subscribe to the biblical edicts about charity, give, but give with anonymity. Give to the needy. The charitable deduction is not anonymous, the government has no 'need to know'. Far too many major 'charities' put the 'needy' at the bot
I saw through his transparency in Oct 2008. I do not call myself a 'genuis'. Oops, not an Obama voter.
As Gen. LeMay said, If he had to send a single SAC bomber in combat, he would have failed his job. Do we need a fire department, if there are no fires in the neighborhood. Do we need a navy, if there is no navy in the world of any size. Or should the navy be sized to just equal the size of an immediate threat? Or should we just crawl into a shell, forget about business and external trade and trade routes. What other purpose is freedom of the seas for?
Paramount in Obama's view of foreign policy is his statement, 'We are not at war with Islam'. Unfortunately he fails to understand, to put it kindly in a politically correct sense, is that Islam IS at war with the West. Add his statement that'He will stand with the moslems...'. Add his mentors to the mix, Wright, Farrakahn, Ayres and his actions are very understandable. No, there is an immense difference between Obama and Romney.
How obvious can you get? It is purely an Obamacare definition. I guess the Liar-in-Chief is finally reading those 2000+ pages.

Defining al Qaeda

Not a relative to George. Allow me a botanical analogy. There are many trees and plants that establish taproots. Once that taproot is established, they will send out runners, often subterranean, that will sprout at distances from the taproot. Those sprouts can often emerge through asphalt and even concrete earth coverings. Hence the question, Is al Qaeda a 'taproot' or a a 'sprout'? A rhetorical question, for in no way is al Queda a 'taproot'. And destroying a' sprout' will not prevent the source, the taproot, from generating additional 'runners' and sprouts. I note that George Friedman carefully avoids mentioning any of the 'runners' developing in the USA, or in Western Europe.
