Good for you, Ann (re: once-called-America comment). Actually the slide started with Roosevelt -- was decried by Eisenhower -- and continues by power brokers who started the Vietnam war with discovery of an in-country manganese mine needed to make steel for war machines. O'Hare was in their employ. I once heard O'Hare publicly ask, to the misuse of money by the church, "MY GOD, when's it gonna stop?: If she really were what she proposed, she'd not have made such a slip.

I'm life member of the original Association of Former Intelligence Officers. I fought the cold war only to ultimately lose. I found this article printed in a small-town New Mexico newspaper and sent it to old colleagues who were afraid to discuss it. I had a hard time finding it again on the web, as the major media has spiked it, so it must be truthful and harmful to the mainstream. A younger corespondent couldn't understand it and now I'm watching the rest of you naïevely attack what this woman said. She's right, and all the rest of you are doomed. So be it.
