I agree that is is bad for bars; however, that is the business of the bar owners, not the state. As for "concealed carry," it is nobody's effing business WHAT is in my pocket, unless I use it to harm someone.
Of course they are. The income tax is nothing more than a form of extortion, where the thugs get a piece of your wealth in exchange for not hurting you. According to the Grace Report of 1984, none of that money provides services to the taxpayer. "The report said that one-third of all income taxes are consumed by waste and inefficiency in the federal government, and another one-third escapes collection owing to the underground economy. 'With two thirds of everyone’s personal income taxes wasted or not collected, 100 percent of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the federal debt and by federal government contributions to transfer payments. In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services [that] taxpayers expect from their government."' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grace_Commission The argument that "those who make more should pay more" is not only fallacious, it is immoral. If I pay twice the tax do you, should I not also receive twice as much representation from government? If I am financially successful, government takes money from me. However, if I suddenly become unsuccessful, even through no fault of my own, government does not give the money back. The purpose of the income tax is control. It should be abolished; or, at the very least, returned to its original intention, which was as a tax on CORPORATIONS.
