Team Romney: It's Go Time

Given more airtime (especially during upcoming debates), we will see that Romney has no ideas at all -- like he's just promised to reduce unemployment to 6%, except he doesn't explain how he's going to do it. Empty Suit.

Yeah, Mitt Romney's alliance with Donald Trump is really classy. Romney doesn't even have the sense to distance himself from that jerk. Great decision-making powers for a Presidential aspirant.
And what, exactly, are your statistics to prove this? The President is ahead in most of the polls. Also, a question: exactly which of Romney's ideas do you like? The guy doesn't have any, he's gotten ahead by staying the crowd bully -- attacking the opposition without any thought of a solution -- oh, and taking credit for others' achievements, too (like the auto bailout). An empty-suite 1-percenter.
Carol--and WHY do you call the President "Marxist?" I think you and a lot of others have just been brainwashed by the GOP into using these words -- communist, marxist, socialist -- as smear words, without knowing their meaning. Since Karl Marx proposed "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need," no society in the world has been Marxist, including Russia. It's never really worked. And socialism means taking over the means of production -- as if the government had taken over the auto industry instead of loaning them money so they could stand on their own. Even having health care doesn't make us socialized.
Unless you're a scientist who has done some recent research, you have no proof whatsoever about any harm to children from same-sex marriages. It's very new and so far hasn't been proven to cause problems for kids. What has been proven, however, is that many of the children these couples adopt are those who otherwise would fall into the foster care system, and that indeed does cause problems for them.
Very interesting that, in addition to the usual Townhall infantilism and racism (as opposed to disagreement with Obama strictly about the issues) there is actually some support for him here. Very unusual.
You mean the way "if it's Tuesday this must be my position" Romney tried to take credit for the success of the auto bailout?
To restoreliberty: You mean restore racism?
And Bohannon is a racist! She looks great.

Remembering the Importance of Family

If this were posted anywhere else, I'd agree -- but as it's on a Conservative political site, with some straggling remainders of support for her father, I find this bizarre, the second "family" column she's done recently, which also talks about how wonderful her father is (the last one gave him credit for the improved economy in the 1990's - untrue). Newt Gingrich left her mother while she was ill in the hospital, and lied about who asked who for a divorce. It's hard not to feel that she's trying to shore him up, only in a different way -- a "kinder, more compassionate" Newt -- who constantly lies to the public and cheated on two wives. If Ms. Cushman wants to be taken seriously, she'll drop her middle name and post somewhere else.
