The real moral problem that I see is that in 10 years all these young activists are going to get to pay and pay big for supporting the ideology of the left. They will have low wage non-skilled jobs (if they can even find those) and their take home pay will be next to non-existent. The boomers will far out number them, wield all the political power, and (like now) they won't care one fig about the young people who are carrying the burden. There are now 2.1 workers for every retiree, in 1960 there were 5 workers for every retiree if anyone can show me how this is suppose to be sustainable, I'd be real interested to see the data.

It gets worse than that, Restore. as thee young people can't find jobs, the wealth creation will disappear and the quality of life will nosedive when the private sector will contribute absolutely nothing to economic activity.

I was an interview guest last month, and the radio talk show host was asking me about the looming fiscal cliff. In the midst of discussing how our government must cut spending, the host had noted the title of my latest book – “The Virtues Of Capitalism, A Moral Case For Free Markets” – and after a few minutes of discussion, asked “do you mind if we take a phone call, Austin?”
