Hey John, I'm pretty sure these folks fully support the USDA and Michelle Obama in pushing high fructose fruits and fat metabolizing carbohydrates on overweight, sedentary school kids as the new, and only, choice snacks in all schools. The lobbying money should be followed very closely on any of these new food police policies pushed by the nanny state government.

Like any nutrient, context context context is so important. Weight Watchers, once more using the best actual science (not axe grinding) has seen great weight loss success with its new diet plans that make any kind of fruit except dried or juice to be a "free" food (in addition to any vegetable that is not a high fat vegetable). You chug down liquid fructose, you pay the price. With the fiber and the natural water together, you achieve the closest thing to a dietary nirvana yet known to man.
