I think you are spot on! The more labels the left applies the more funds they can control. The Federal Government needs to get out of education entirely and let the States stand or fall based on their own merits. The states that want to keep pandering to the unions will have failing schools and thus no businesses will locate there and the states that want high educational standards will reap the benefits or strong state economies.
