“We’re going to reshape selfish, mean-spirited America…I’m not interested in the suburbs. The suburbs bore me. And I’m not interested in isolating myself. I feel good when I’m engaged in what I think are the core issues of the society, and those core issues to me are what’s happening to poor folks in this society.” - Barack Obama Who lives in the suburbs? Middle Class America. Middle Class America, Barack Obama thinks that you are selfish. Middle Class America, Barack Obama thinks that you are mean-spirited. Middle Class America, Barack Obama isn’t interested in you. Middle Class America, Barack Obama is bored by you. Middle Class America, Barack Obama does not “have your back.” Middle Class America, why would you have his?

@Resist you're joking right? I'm not going to dignify your post. No one can debate pure garbage. Once again I call on Thomas Jefferson, who in another situation said: "Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas much be distinct before reason can act upon them... . TJ had you right. So when you're ready to not be ridiculed I would relish discussing a reasoned post from you.

I did and the quote you wrote above is not in it like you wrote it. It looks lie mutliple quotes from different sources all spliced an d put together on some conservative website. This is the best you can come up with?

That is my website and it is not conservative. He said what he said and you should learn what ellipsis mean.

well please, by all means provide what you believe to be the real quote...or are you one of the lazy, worthless that make up a portion of the 47%

Psst restore are you in that 10% who didn't get the word? As it turns out Romney says the 47% isn't really 47%. He is slicing and dicing as fast as he can once he realized that the hole he was digging was his aspirations. I know what you're thinking. Why can't he take a position and stick to it. You have not figured out that taking a position and sticking to it isn't in his DNA? I suggest you wait and wait before you defend anything he says. Otherwise, like now, you're left hanging when he goes right back to his etch a sketch. When he answers questions at a presser every reporter should follow up with: IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?

Yes, Romney chose a relatively friendly venue for this exchange -- but Neil Cavuto didn't exactly let the GOP nominee off the hook by lobbing softballs.  Nor did he badger Romney with sanctimonious scolding or apology trolling, a mindless mainstream media specialty.  High marks for this interview:

In this case, the best defense is a good offense, so Romney mentioned the newly (and not coincidentally) released Obama
