"This is a repeat of the lies told by Bush/Cheney concerning nonexistent WMD's." "The weapons inspectors said he had them. He catalogued—they catalogued them. This was not some, some Cheney, you know, pipe dream. This was, in fact, catalogued. They looked at them and catalogued. What he did with them, who knows? The real mystery is, if he, if he didn’t have any of them left, why didn’t he say so? Well, a lot of people say if he had said that, he would’ve, you know, emboldened Iran and so on and so forth." - Senator Joe Biden, Meet The Press, 29 April 2007
One mo thang... In 2008, Obama beat John McCain in Ohio by 8% among independents. Today, Romney leads Obama with independents by 19 points. That’s a 27 point swing. Not even SEIU & ACORN can manufacture enough Gumby & Pokey votes to compensate for that.
Yep. Why would anyone believe Obama on Iran (Morris' idea) when he lied to them about Libya? Besides, doesn't anyone remember what the Clinton two-step with the NorKs? They wound up with softened sanctions AND nuclear weapons.
BTW, the Gravis poll has a D +9 sample. Turnout in OH in Obama's magic year, 2008, was D +5. The VERY best that Obama can do is to replicate 2008 turnout and THAT STILL ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. IOW, R is ahead in OH.
BOOM! Gravis has them TIED in Ohio. 41/32/27, MOE +/- 2.2 * R +6 w/men (50 to 44 percent) * O +4 w/women (49 to 45 percent). Surprisingly low. * 87% of Democrats say they will vote for President Obama * 92% of Republicans say they will vote for Governor Romney * R +19 w/Independents (52 to 33) * O approval rating 44. Disapproval at 50. * Right track/wrong track: 43/49 http://www.gravispolls.com/2012/10/gravis-ohio-poll-shows.html R hits 50 for the first time in Ras Swing State tracking today: 50/46

RCP moved FL, CO, and VA to R's column today. Is that the swing to which you were referring?

by 0.1%. RCP has moved FL, CO, and VA into R column today. Obama leads by 1 in OH and EV is even. Three liberal newspapers, which endorsed Obama in 2008, have endorsed Romney this week. Don't tell me that this means anything other than support for Obama is soft. As for Obama & foreign policy, that is going to be a blast. Can't wait to hear him talk more about "bumps in the road" & "optimal" number of American deaths because of his failures.
