"Well - aren't you lucky to have five healthy children. Twenty families in Newtown do not. Is your desire to own an AR 15 more important than the lives of 20 children?" An estimated 3,880 children ages 15 and younger die ANNUALLY due to unintentional drowning-related, but non-boating incidents. The death from drowning rate was 2.55 per 100,000 for these children. 5,789 are hospitalised ANNUALLY due to unintentional drowning-related, but non-boating incidents. 20% suffer severe, permanent neurological disability. The number one killer of children in the US and primary place where drownings occur is SWIMMING POOLS. The second most often site of drownings for children 15 and under is the BATHTUB. Shouldn't we ban swimming pools

You seem to be so well versed in the use, or should I say ABuse, of statistics. Why do you think the "right to keep and bear arms" was the second amendment and not the 10th. Is it maybe more important than the 8 that follow it but not more than the one it follows. How do you defend what you are speaking if the Government is the only one with the fire power to shut you up? You really need to shed that public school education and do some real reading of real history. I suppose I should get rid of all my fire extinguishers because the fire house is just 2 miles away.

Um, I have never stepped foot in a public school and I can destroy you on an educational basis.

I know EXACTLY why the Second Amendment was written.

BTW, idiot, I am on YOUR side.

my RIGHT to own an AR-15 is more important than the deaths of those 20 children.

there's good reason why there's a Second Amendment.
Feinstein,Schumer,Comrade Obama and others are the reason. they refuse to follow the Constitution.

in the US,we don't take away Constitutional rights because some criminal misused an item to kill people..

"Give me 1 valid reason why you need to own one"

Because I have a right to defend myself.

A November 2012 Mass Shootings Analysis report issued by the New Jersey Intelligence & Analysis Unit (NJ ROIC) in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security shows semiautomatic handguns are the most common weapons used to carry out mass shootings. The report was issued one month before the Newtown shooting in which, according to the coroner and police, the killer used a semi-automatic rifle.

"The mass killing incidents this year at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin and a movie theater in Colorado garnered international attention and focused the efforts of public and private sector security officials on...
