The ONLY thing that is going to stop the deficit spending is when we demand a law that says employers can no longer deduct state and federal taxes from our paychecks, and we must all begin to write a bi-weekly check from our personal accounts to pay these taxes. Only then will the average Joe realize the enormity of the spending problem.

Paul Ryan is, of course, right -- spending is unsustainable and the USA is on an economic collision course unless some serious changes are made.  But if the GOP wants the public to understand what's at stake, they need to do better at explaining the problem than press releases like this
