Not to get too far off topic, but we have a real brain drain in America. So many brilliant, prepared foreign science, math, and engineering students, get advanced degrees here, but our immigration laws forbid them to stay. Of course, due to our failed public education system, Americans could never make it through the rigors of study. So, the only real answer is to bring in educated Pakistanis, Iraqi, Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, Mexican, and Brazilian scholars to finish their advanced degrees and stay, here, in America. It is the only answer.

News flash, a s s h o l e: 2011 US violent crime rate = 361 per 100,000 people, most of which occur in metro areas over 250,000. According to FBI website crime stats, violent crime in the US had DROPPED nearly 50% over the last 20 years.

2011 UK violent crime rate = 1350 per 100,000 people. According to the Home Office website crime stats, violent crime has increased 40% since the British gun ban.

More guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens, less crime.
