Marriage Rulings Are Only a 'Ban' on Truth

These judges of their own opinions verses the law which is spelled out should be removed from the bench. But the problem is much greater than one judge or even all the men and women who think like he does. The problem is with we the people who give so little attention to the representatives we elect that they can run wild until they get out of the fence of propriety. Then we take notice and give attention to the dying masses impinged by their maleficence. A belief system which is not followed is no system at all! It is possible for godly men sin against God’s commandments. But an evil man, in support of his wanton behavior, would sin away the law, and take the righteous law, that which is from God, and the foundation for a healthy...

I agree that Walker should be removed from the bench. But the problem is much greater than one man or even all the men and women who think like he does. The Christian Gene

"The tall man with the horse-like face who interrogated me led me into the Hard Labor Educational Camp with high walls and a big red gate.” As told by Dorothy Sun in her book, “Clay in the Potter’s Hand,” about torture and persecution for having a sincere faith in Jesus Christ while still in China. She spent 20 years in prison for not denying Jesus as her Lord. This is a very serious slippery slope which we must stop now before the "Changers" get their dastardly deeds accomplished.

The Heart Has Its Reasons

This is a battle between the principalities of the “Truth of God” and the “Lies of the devil” and their respective soldiers. We are all slaves, either to the devil and his lies or to the God of creation and the truth.

Because the world views we all live by come from only one of two camps. The world view that puts man on the throne of all he is, believes, and every wants to be. Or the one which puts the God of highest truth and love upon the throne and submits to a brilliance which surpasses all understanding.

We debate out of our fears, wants, and ignorance unless we have been exposed to the highest intelligence through the revelation of the creation, Word of God, and example of God’s Son Jesus Christ; and all this by...
George Parker, head of the Washington, D.C., teachers union says, “Our very survival depends on having kids in D.C. schools so we'll have teachers to represent." This sentence shows how we follow after foolish thinking. The union would keep cutting the patient so it could sell more bandages. Results only count when the entity (union) survives at all costs. Our children’s future and even their lives are only for expediency of the self-serving ignorant officials.

The elite cannot have choice. Results are not sought for better education but for more control and the reforming of our society into a progressive group of non-functioning drones.

You quote Andrew Coulson, head of the Cato Institute's Center for Educational...

As Morally Serious as Root Canal

Being a man, a moral man, I do not have to contend with the question of abortion personally. But I do have to contend with the basis on which the abortion issue prominently stands, that of moral character before my Maker.
Not a single person is sinless. The fact that our modern world view would allows us to think that God is irrelevant does not make Him or His prescriptions for a good life any less relevant.
The right to moral autonomy begins when we understand our position before the Creator of ALL that is. God has showed us that He knows the forming of our members while in the womb. He has told us loud and clear that the taking of a human life is murder. God has made it clear that we will answer for our...

Life After Death: The Message of Evolution

Reed27 Wrote: Nov 14, 2009 1:28 PM
‘Nature has unfolded a plan for nature itself to become known.” Having read this article to see what you have to say about “Life After Death:” I was amazed to see such a strong reference to God.

Oh for sure, not the god I worship, but never the less a god for sure. Certainly you would not expect “intelligent design” to come from inanimate objects. But you write, “The progression of evolution on earth shows an unmistakable trajectory from matter to mind”.

One of the basic tenets of faith in God is that He has always existed. The other is that a being cannot create itself. You then close with, “We, like nature, might have a built-in progression from perishable matter to imperishable mind.”

Nature is an object. ...

The Underdogs

What a great story. I have been in construction nearly 50 years. What I have learned is that when hard times would come I could seek a handout or a hand-up. I know from experience that the "Handout" always set me back and prolonged my emergence from my situation. But putting myself in the position to use a hand-up empowered me to accomplish much more.
Perseverance is the key. Do not let you situation grow into immovable objects. Fourty-nine years ago I had but one place to begin my career. They said they did not have a place for me. I showed up for two and a half weeks at norning and noon until they got tired of turning me away. One morning when I drove up to the job I heard, "Michka, anyone who shows up for a job he doesn't...
