Ron Paul is NOT a conservative... Winston. He's a libertarian. There are major differences between the two. I kinda wish Ron Paul hadn't tried to co-opt the "I'm a conservative" mantra as it was a betrayal to true libertarians, who are financially conservative and for the most part socially liberal. This messaging did not work for him during this campaign because it was NOT sincere and it came off as such... Let me ask you another question you probably won't answer... We're you offended at the idea that Ron Paul seemed to give Romney a pass while he lambasted every single conservative front runner for the entirety of the campaign until the last man standing was defeated/quit?

No mastter what you want to call him, Ron Paul is just a RINO, a libertarian who runs as a Republican because he cannot get elected if he ran as a Libertarian.

MILLION BILLION TIMES MORE!

He spent beaucoup bucks flaming one after another - now as to your assertion that ANY of these people were truly constitutional conservatives. No they aren't - but they all show as much fealty to the conservative movement as any other. They all had records they could be assailed on with the exception of herman cain, who had NO record. Cain or bachmann were likely to be the most "conservative" by contemporary standards. But paul spent money to help bring them down one after another and spent almost nothing going after romney - you can decry it as a debunked myth if you want. But i have two eyes and i was watching from sun-up to sunset EVERY SINGLE DAY. It was obvious by the time santorum was surging.

Oooops. Actually a CONSTITUTIONAL Libertarian - meaning A MILLION TIMES MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN ROMNEY.

Ron Paul DID NOT GIVE ROMNEY A "PASS." This is just a repeated, LOOOONG-debunked hoax designed to discourage Paul supporters. Which "conservative" "frontrunner" did Paul "lambast?" Santorum IS A FLAMING LEFTIST. GINGRICH IS A FLAMING LEFTIST.

The Obama brain trust evidently believes it's got a winning message here, so brace yourselves for six more months of smug, smirking implications that Mitt Romney would have nixed last May's military and intelligence triumph:

"I'd just recommend that everybody take a look at people's previous statements in terms of whether they thought it was appropriate to go into Pakistan and to take out bin Laden," Obama said, obviously taking a shot at Romney. "I assume that...
