Ever tasted Elmer T. Lee single barrel? Made by B.T. & mighty fine.
Tennessee whisk(e)y is not bourbon.
As a native Louisvillian, it pains me to say that to legally be called bourbon, it must be manufactured in the USA. However, 95% of all bourbons are made in the Bluegrass State.
Carrie-the IRS doesn't designate retirement age, SSA does. If the wife claims spouse's benefits at her full retirement age, it will be more than 50% of her husband's payment. As he took it early, it is permanently reduced. If wife files for full benefits and suspends, then husband files for spouse's benefits, his check will still be permanently reduced because he elected his own at age 62. As to the work deductions, he won't "get the money back in the form of a recalculated benefit." The reduction factor is adjusted at full retirement age to account for the months of benefits that were withheld due to excess earnings. Each month is approx a half of a percent. You sould check your facts with SSA first, then write!
