Romney's huge and widely acknowledge slam dunk win in last night's debate is a game changer. This is not 1984, when a desperately trailing Mondale got the better of a seemingly overwhelmed and aged-looking Reagan. Romney is at worst, only a few points behind Obama, and that was before his stunning victory last night. September and the never-ending fumbling, negative scrutiny, Obama-dominated narrative is GONE! The real game is now on, and this is a new race as of today! Romney CAN do this, and he took the first step towards ultimate victory last night. VERY impressed, delighted and energized by the biggest debate victory, perhaps ever!

Who was that man, and what has he done with Mitt Romney?  The Republican presidential nominee was more cheerful, more prepared, more specific, more informed and more energetic than President Obama tonight, resulting in a genuine rout.  Romney seemed eager to answer every question, Obama looked peeved and sluggish.  For every straw man argument the president raised, his challenger offered a lengthy and detailed rebuttal, in full command of the facts.  Romney won virtually every single exchange throughout the night -- on jobs, on deficits, on energy, on Medicare, on health care, and especially on the role of government.  Obama's...
