"A further data point countering Barone's point is that those who rely on Fox news for thier news are teh most misinformed people. Those who listen to NPR or even the Daily SHow are better informed." There you go again John, regurgitating what the people in your cocoon are saying. Again, because you or those in your cocoon say and think something, that doesn't mean it's true, and usually isn't because it isn't based on anything but your opinion. You don't know that NPR and the Daily Show are just part of your cocoon? And sorry, I forgot to add NPR and the Daily Show to the list of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Dallas Morning News (which is very liberal too), The Fort Worth Star Telegram, Los Angeles Times, etc.
John, because you think and say something doesn't mean it's true. That is a major problem with liberals like you. But to say that one cable news station and a few AM talk radio programs balances ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Dallas Morning News (which is very liberal too), The Fort Worth Star Telegram, Los Angeles Times, and virtually every other newspaper, and virtually everything vapid thing that comes out of most actor and actresses mouths is absurd. Besides, he addressed your point when he said, "But cocooning has an asymmetrical effect on liberals and conservatives. Even in a cocoon, conservatives cannot avoid liberal mainstream media, liberal Hollywood entertainment." You failed to disprove that.
That's great, Joe.
Because a REAL man takes RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS! That is why it reflects on his manhood. His actions DO reflect on how he does his job and his principles, or lack of in this case, other than his belief that he believes he is a mini Obama dictator.
“As I have expressed publicly, and to you directly, I regret comments I made several years ago that do not in any way reflect my work as regional administrator. As importantly, they do not represent the work you have overseen as E.P.A. administrator.” "...that do not in any way reflect my work as regional administrator. " WHAT?! COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, whether they disagree with him or not, HAS NO REFLECTION ON HIS WORK IN THE EPA?!? Mr. Armendariz, WE ARE THE BOSS! YOU are the Public SERVANT! He is living in a liberal, PIPE DREAM, BUBBLE!
That isn't an all that brilliant statement to be considered to be due to a "sharp mind". Democrats do that every election, promise free stuff. But Romney doesn't have much of a leg to stand on. RomneyCare is free government health care, free in that you don't pay the health care professional directly, which is what ObamaCare is what it's supporters like about it too. That's "free stuff" that Romney approves of just like Obama does.
RomneyCare has the government force you to do it whether you want to or not.
It isn't personal responsibility if you are being forced to do it. Personal responsibility is when you take responsibility for yourself based on your own volition.
Newt and Santorum have their congressional record that includes their "Contract with America" agenda that cut taxes and cut spending. Romney will do whatever he thinks is politically expedient, just look at RomneyCare, which he signed, contrary to conservative principles, just to make the liberals in Massachusetts happy.
Just because you state that, doesn't mean it's true. Your comment is without merit because you have no evidence. Even if your comment were true, which it isn't, both of them started further right than Romney.
