If a company treats its employees fairly a union will never get its foot in the door, but alas, there are a lot of scummy companies out there.

I really don't understand all the anti union rhetoric. All unions are responsible for are 1. a 40 hour work week. 2 wages that you can actually live on. 3. every benefit package you have. 4. 5 day work week. No rich company has ever given any of these things to the average worker, they were all fought for and won by unions. It would be nice if all the union bashers were not privilage to any of the above. They would not be able to spew their anti union hatred if they had to work 16 hours, seven days a week for twenty five cents an hour.
