To me Germany came full circle when Merkel correctly stated that multiculturalism has failed. It´s about time Germany got over its fear of what the rest of the world would say or do if they actually recognized the negative impact certain foreign originiating diasporas living in Germany have had on their nation. Now it´s time for them to start doing something about it. Good luck Germany.

OK, you have four parts of the so-called Palestinian lands: north of Jerusalem, east of Jerusalem and south of Jerusalem. The other part of their lands is Gaza. For them to be joined together and made contiguous how would that happen. You would have to give non-Palestinian land to them so it can be connected. To connect Gaza to the other three parts in the vicinity of Jerusalem this would require taking a tract of land from the Palestinian territory in the vicinity of Jerusalem which goes south by southwest to Gaza. That would cut the southern portion of Israel off from the north. Not insignificantly this would isolate the Negev from Israel proper and what do the Israelis have in the Negev (that they like to deny they have)???? ...
