If the GOP wants to survive just get the Speaker out of there. He is a weak leader that Obama will eat for lunch. Never mind the bawling and crying, although it does not speak well for a man to cry in public. They need a strongly spined leader not afraid to face the Democrats.

I don't mind a man showing emotion. This false belief that men can't/shouldn't cry is ridiculous; however, you are right that he is weak, and he is more a democrat than conservative.

Things have been a tad...uncomfortable in House Republicanville over the last few weeks, and yesterday's "deal" only exacerbated the tension.  With the 113th Congress set to take the reins tomorrow, the lower chamber's GOP conference will reportedly gather this evening to discuss their leadership situation.  Depending on who you believe, either Boehner is calmly assured that he has the votes to be re-elected as Speaker...
