President Obama's Closing Act: An Epic Collapse

Obama's November surprise (for HH): 286+ Electoral votes and a 2+ point pop. vote victory. Romney concedes before midnight PST. Hugh then claims reduced margins from '08 as a "victory" for Republicans, and complains about media bias swinging the election and keeping the senate in Reid's hands. He assures his fans that 2014 will be 2010 redux. Count on it.

Amusing response, I'll give you that. But I'm afraid it's Hugh "How Sarah Palin Won the Election … and Saved America" Hewitt who lives in fantasy land. His predictive abilities are second only to that of Di ck Morris'.

Gino's response WAS amusing, wasn't it? Even more amusing that he nailed it. Be sure and come back here and let us know how you feel when your Messiah loses.

Everyone is entilted to be wrong. But as you can see, everyone now understands how wrong they were. Obama was given the keys and the run of the place for the first two years with a super-majority to boot. So I ask you, What happened to hope and change during those years when he could do everything his heart desired? Why did he push through a bill (Obamacare) instead of getting the economy on it's feet? GM was saved but at a loss of $25 billion to the tax payers. 44 straight months of unemployment above 8%, and this is just a few things. Others have better numbers than I but you get the point. It is not about popularity! It is about the economy. PERIOD!

Hewitt predicted that Romney would be the nominee years ago, when clowns like you thought such a thing would be your best scenario, your hope for victory.

You and Obama: co-clowns.

Obama is not my Messiah, is Romney yours? Your faith certainly seems blind.

By nearly every measure the economy is in better shape than when Obama took office, and Obamacare is federalized Romneycare, an imperfect plan, but all that could be gotten through given conservative Dems in the pocket of the insurance companies and the Republicans stated goal of deny Obama any co-operation from day one. Obviously the economy is weaker than anyone would like, otherwise Obama would be cruising to a landslide, but Romney offers nothing more than tired platitudes when it comes to making it stronger.

You really live in a strange world. Even Biden said that the economy is worse now than four years ago.
The ongoing collapse of President Obama's campaign may lead to some extraordinary stunts during Monday's last debate, but no matter what he tries, it is very unlikely that the president can reverse the enormous momentum behind Mitt Romney's campaign.

(One data point. Congressman John Campbell, a frequent guest on my radio show, polled his district this week. It is Califronia's 45. John McCain carried it by 4.7 points in 2008. Mitt Romney is almost 20 points ahead in this cycle. Campbell reports that this sort of result is showing up across the country.)

The nation is simply finished with...
