The killing of the unborn is offensive to me no matter what the party. Denying the unborn life, liberty and happiness is the highest form of self centeredness. The only exception I make is if it threatens the life of the Mother.

It seems that every time there is a spike in gasoline prices, Bill O’Reilly chimes in with his idea that if we produce it here, we should use it here. He’s even proposed a special tax on exports of petroleum products. He somehow believes that, even though oil is a global commodity, it would cost less for Americans if we kept it all here. 

O’Reilly has a big listening audience, and if you don’t understand oil, the global markets, and what it truly takes to be “energy independent”—which most people don’t have time to think...
