Getting Headaches and Giving Them

Seems to me you are comparing Bachmann's potential for negatively impacted performance with Obama's head-up-between-cheeks current performance "standard". I would venture to guess that a 3 month old road-killed rodent could perform better than him, given Bush's old staff and 18 months of Republican majority congress. You might want to change the comparison level, if you really think Bachmann is the best candidate.

Issa v. Holder

Holder (the truth) -- "Wah, wah, --- we're tryyyyyingggggg". "They are not easy targets like our domestic terrorists, you know, veterans, gun owners, little old tea party ladies, which is why we focus our core in -- er, I mean competency on those dangerous actors." "Plus, the drug lords are not in the news, you know, face wise, so there is no real publicity value to we political higher ups in pursuing them." "The distraction factor, violation of the Constitution, promotion of un-American values, that's what we're after."
"We shot him in the head" --- a thousand times stated. He must still be alive and in the middle of water boarding somewhere

Though I hate to ask it, are they marching to the ovens ?
Dear Mr. Regan,
A sick feeling in your gut, really. How many glimpses behind the curtain will you and others like you need before you realize that we have an implacable enemy in the religious structure that comprises Islam ? Not all will attack us, by stealth, insinuation, terrorism, economic disruption, proxy or the multitude of other means available in a modern unconventional conflict. But I believe they will be in vast majority there to "pick the bones", if we fail. Could that be the reason for the sick stomach ? Realization that wishful thinking, that the vast majority of Islam is benevolent, has lead you down yet another primrose path and into the path of a pack of hungry feral dogs. Personally, I am glad the bomber is...

Saving Private Casimer

By now I am sure you have gotten at least a few copies of Mike Adams' latest column on "Saving Private Casimer". Mr. Adams is purported to be contacting Purdue University, asking you to expel one Kevin Casimer, an apparently vociferous and active proponent of expelling another student, under the conditions outlined in his column. The initialization of this collective action is also purported to be a joke. While I find nothing laughable in either reason for Mr. Casimer's or Mr. Adams' actions, both are equally actionable, short of the degree, stated by both. Mr. Casimer's imperial stance based on some imaginary high ground must be shown for what it is, creeping fascism choking out actual free growth of intellect. As fascism, like so...

Six Steps to Security Sanity

Seems to me the O was more than just flirting with the lefty concept of prosecuting up to and including Chaney, maybe even Bush, for their policies on "overseas human contingencies of religious undertone, justified overtone and imperialist reactionary inspired revenge". Oh, I mean "The War on Terror". It is first blood drawn in deceit, by the least tolerant of even a fractional return. Cheney's return is a minuscule fraction of the O's assault on tradition, personage, conservative ideology, legal precedent and practicality. Not to mention setting a precedent to be followed in his own case. The only reason it could possibly even look like parity to anyone but an idiot or a blind dog, is the, long slender limb which the O has...
