obama owes too much to the teacher's unions. He can not interfere or even comment. Without their support he has no chance of winning in Nov. Remember in his campaign he said he has shoes and he will march with them?

Not sure the 'Messiah' can solve this problem. On the one hand, the mayor is his former chief of staff who hates the CTU president. He also has taken a stand on teacher standards, which Karen Lewis violently opposes.

On the other hand, how can he side with union demands in an election year when the whole world knows how bankrupt Chicago and Illinois are?

Except for the devastation it is causing Chicago parents, I love the situation. It is focusing the citizens on the true nature of public unions.

What Chicago and Ilinois needs is someone like Scott Walker, and that is becoming very clear in this strike. Watch how violent the strike becomes when the teachers see that they are losing.

Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis walks, talks and barks like a rootsy Occupy Wall Street activist. But this Big Labor loudmouth who's leading the abandonment of nearly 400,000 schoolchildren in the Windy City is just another power-grabbing union fat cat.

Instead of academic excellence, she rails about "social justice." Instead of accountability, she fumes about "profits" and curses merit pay. Lewis has marched with the Occu-clowns denouncing capitalism and promoting "socialism (as) the alternative." She raves: "Occupy Wall Street and the whole concept of the 99 percent is an extraordinarily important movement."

And she earned praise as a...
