As any battery life is significantly shorter in cold weather, the new Caddy Dolt should get you around the block.....once, in the winter.

Unless you play the DVD machine, then it'll be half a block.

Canadians are not stupid and know as well as anyone what cold does to batteries, so who bought those pieces of art that you can not drive but can only look at?

I know the feeling Ray. Here on the ranch I keep an old 87 Ford 250, 3/4 ton four wheel long bed extended cab. That's the last year BEFORE fuel injection! It has TWO gas tanks so I can get all the way to the post office and back! I leave it parked near the 1000 gallon elevated gas tank, ON PURPOSE! I would give it away but no one would take it! I pull my Gooseneck with it a couple times a year and pull the horses up the sierra and pack into the Golden Trout wilderness a couple times a year. Otherwise it sits near the big red Gas Tank!

And how far to the post office you go to, and try hauling that horse trailer itch a Volt, lol. Yes there have been improvements in fuel economy with trucks :)

After a year that can only be described as “stupid,” the Chevy Volt is gearing up to make 2013 even stupider still.

I know, I know.

You find it hard to believe that a mostly-owned subsidiary of the United States government and the Obama administration- like GM is- could get any stupider than say Fannie Mae, or Federal Reserve Bank.

Yes, that’s tough competition, but in the “idiocy” category GM seems to be the ruling champion.

Not only have they lost substantial amounts of taxpayer dollars, they have managed to do it while generating record profits...
