Don't ignore them, email them back thanking them for proving their lack of intelligence. I have noticed more than once how the so-called black establishment constantly denigrate people of color who identify with Republicans and conservative groups. I have never understood why so many minorities identify the the party of Jim Crow, the Democrats whose various laws and policies label minorities as being incapable of taking care of themselves.
While I like some of the ideas expressed, finding anything you want on the internet if false. Yes, there is a lot of information on the internet but can it be trusted? Google used to be great, it took you directly to the information you wanted. Now it takes you to those who pay them, you have to wade through pages of demands for your money. I hardly ever bother anymore, it is not worth the effort. Again many individuals and organizations put false information on the internet. I do not trust. In a library you can go to direct sources in published volumes. True later events may have changes some of the information but most of the material has been vetted over the years. I do use the internet with some healthy skepticism.

The Department of Education is anything but an advocate for excellence. It should be limited to developing goals for education but little say on how to achieve them and no enforcement authority nor control of funds. While I have no objection to national tests to determine how well our students meet these goals, tests should be properly prepared and actually measure knowledge, reading and writing skill, and the ability to use mathematics to solve problems. Feelings and attitudes toward criminals, gays, blacks or other races, religion, culture, etc., should not be part of testing. One goals are set, let the states and local school districts determine how and at what grade level to teach toward those goals.

I agree, but remember, Bob Crosby was vilified when he spoke up. The people that most congress members seem to consider to be spokesmen for Blacks are the worst kind: Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc. Walter Williams, Star Parker, Thomas Sowell, etc. are ignored if not labeled as traitors by many Blacks.
Unfortunately, you are right.
Evil is as evil does. Obama is pure evil. He knows exactly what he is doing and those jackasses in congress refuse to do their job. He should have been impeached long ago. Congress should cut all funds to the EPA, Dept. of he Interior, Dept. Education, NLRB and all other agencies acting without full authority under the law. People, why do you keep electing these hacks from both parties? Kick them out.

Shameless Bias by Omission

We recently had the newly appointed chief editor of our local newspaper speak at our club. She stated that they were evenhanded in reporting the news. There were expressions of disbelief among our members. She was informed that the paper was on the far left and did not fairly report events. She was flabbergasted. These leftest have taken oven newspapers across the country and never fairly report the news. After more than 50 years of taking the daily newspaper, I have cancelled my subscription. I now just glace at Time and Newsweek. I will read a few articles but the writer quickly shows his/her bias.

Political Parasitism

The analogy is clear, politicians are mosquitoes and fleas making up our government. I also consider them as tapeworms, hookworms and other parasites. A pox on all of them.
More and more of the American public lives on the public dole, some families for generations. Others see these people getting by without little or no work and emulate them. Everyone demands their share of the dole. Apparently the real idiots are those like me who work, pay taxes and tries to live on what I earned by my own efforts. I am now past 70 years of age and presume I will live my remaining years is relative comfort unless some bad happens. The likelihood of something bad happening will certainly increase if Obama is reelected along with the Democratic majority in the Senate. I fear for my children and grandchildren who are not saving nearly enough although I have advised them for years not to rely on social security.

Great article. I have been preaching this message to my siblings and friends for years to little avail. While they will help family members and their close friends in need, a good thing, but they are perfectly willing to leave charity (welfare in all its aspects) to government. While they may complain about the panhandlers on street corners and traffic stops, they don't consider that most of these people are receiving social security disability (drunks and drug addicts). That money is completely wasted as it only feeds their addictions. Government programs feed the bureaucrats that manage such government programs. Bureaucrats have no intention whatsoever of curing whatever justifies their position, instead, they seek to increase it.
