West raised more than $17 million -- an astronomical figure for a member of Congress, let alone a House freshman -- and Murphy brought in $3.6 million. Now THAT is amazing. Conservatives from all over the country poured money in and still couldn't win it.

Goes to show that a substantial number of voters can still recognize a reactionary loon when they see one, despite a blizzard of propaganda aimed at swaying their vote.

A clear example of the wussification of the American male. They can run their svcks, but their tongues are about the only muscles they've developed. Very much as in the final days of Rome. "Bread and Circus", the only REAL men are in the arena.

Patrick Murphy has 160,328 votes, or 50.4 percent, to West’s 157,782 votes, or 49.6 percent, with 100 percent of precincts reporting, according to the Associated Press, which has yet to call the race.
