I'm sure the President is right when he says that it would all be much worse without his massive, unconstitutional interventions. If only the media had done a better job in letting people know that without the Bush tax cuts, Obama would have 'inherited' a 3 trillion dollar deficit, unemployment would have been 35 percent, and inflation would have been 1,000 percent. Without Bush's intevention in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sadaam Hussein would be in control of the eastern third of the United States and Osama bin Laden would be governor of New York. They didn't publicize that because George Bush would be acknowledged as the greatest president ever..
My most recent siting of a moslem was in the crosswalk as I waited for the light to change. It was a middle-aged man being followed, 2-3 steps behind and to his left, by a woman in a hijab (not required by the Koran, only by misogynistic sects of Islam). He was in slacks and a short-sleeved shirt and spoke over his shoulder to the un-equal servant in long sleeves. It was nearly 100 degrees. If some moslems had their way, only their sons would go to school wiht your children, and then, only with your sons.

Mr. Chapman, if you cannot phathom the differnce between taking over a private concern i.e. General Motors, abrogating bankruptcy laws to favor big labor to the detriment of secured creditors, or seizing control of the nation's healthcare system, and the propriety of a federal response to an environmental disaster on the outer continental shelf; you, and they, are just too stupid to be taken seriously.
Perhaps some enterprising indiviual could figure out a way to continue with Mr. Obamas policies in economics, foreign affairs etc. then harness the rotational energy of our founding fathers as they spin in their graves. We would not only meet our energy demands in a carbon free manner, we could pay down the debt by selling the excess to the rest of the world. Good-bye OPEC and Gazprom!
...we are sailing into a dark sea.

Prager is dead on. Many of the comments posted serve only to reinforce his point.

Perhaps the decision on whether or which position on which board to offer Sestak was left to Joe Biden. He is, after all, the esteemed constitutional scholar and lawyer who could not figure out during the V.P. debates, which clause of The Constitution established the executive branch and which the legislative branch.

Given Chris Matthew's reference to his violent fantasies about Mr. Limbaugh, one wonders when Nancy Pelosi will appear, eyes welling with tears, to proclaim that such talk reminds her of the terrible events in San Francisco in the late 70s.

While watching television in the lunchroom at work, the news announced that the 2016 Olympics had been awarded to Rio de Janeiro and referred to the city as "Rio." A colleague with a bachelor's degree from a state university asked me, "where's Rio?" What passes for higher education today would hardly have cut it in the 60's and 70's when I went to high school.

As for teaching critical thinking skills, one must possess them to pass them on. If the faculty at America's universities were themselves critical thinkers, these institutions would likely be bastions of conservative thought.
Mr. Hewitt points out in the fifth paragraph how Mr. Obama comes across as "petulant", "spoiled", "megalomaniacal" etc. All of which the astute, or even semi-critical, observer of Mr. Obama's campaign and first year in office will have concluded independent of Halperin and Heilmann. His nauseating and immature repetition of the woeful state he "inherited" and his repeated confusion of correllation and causation to grab credit for any good event which follows any action on his part, are ample evidence of his Obamacentric world view.
