I'm retired and receiving Social Security. If they cut it by 10% and at the same time cut welfare by the same and then cut government spend hopefully by more. I would be OK with it. I have a copy of the pig book, Washington spends vast amounts of money on things I have no interest in and doesn't have anything to do with the well being of this country. One is Opera house remodel. I wouldn't go to an Opera if it was next door. I know your thinking I'm low class and have no culture. I disagree but even if your right why should I have to pay for the remodeling of an Opera house.

These people that come here illegally will vote how ever they are told to. This is all part of the plan to take America without firing a shot. This plan is not limited to illegals or Mexicans they just happen to be the most visible part of they over all plan.
I have always driven Fords, after the close look we had at UAW last year Toyota is looking pretty good. I want to buy American but I think the UAW needs to be punished they are way out of line. I would like to see a nonunion American car company.
That's not what I hear. A Vietnam buddy and his brother work for the UAW. They tell a story of guys showing up 2 or 3 days a week finally he get fired. I'm guessing finally means 6 month, a year. They tell me then 6 months later he's back on the job with back pay. I'm betting the guy was drawing unemployment while he was off. Truth is that kind of thing makes a bad man worst and a good man bad. If you take in the cost to American productivity guys like that cost all of us and the Union made it happen. If you don't get that then it is most likely to late for you. That kind of Union will kill America.

Does anyone think Bill Gates started Microsoft with his money. Does anyone think Micheal Dell started Dell Computer with with his money. Right now Bill Gates is investing in a new form of nuclear power called Terra Power, Google it, it's quite interesting. It produces power with no or little radioactive waste. I think I read that the US could be powered for XXX years using the spent rods of other nuclear plants. Terra power uses up more or of all the radioactive in the rods. I have no way of knowing if this will work, if we didn't have rich men like Bill Gates and others like him that have risk their money in this venture we would never know, would we. So go ahead and tax away and the rich people will be the Al Gores of the world that...
College should expose young people to a variety of viewpoints. These left wing professors only put out one point view so how is that a variety.
you are so full of it.
Loved you article. I never went to college, but for year now I have seen university as the birthplace of our problem today. If it is a lecture or debate when the professor is finish the class should not be able to tell which side of the issue the professor is on. Any thing less is not educating it is indoctrinating.
Cap & trade is a sore spot with me. I see it as the biggest money grab in the history of the world. It will be the far left that is getting the commission on these trades and they will be big. Trillions of dollars and those dollars will come from the American people, the consumers of the inflated price of product and service. They could tax unclean factories and give tax credits to clean factories. The only problem with that is these thieves don't get their hands on the money. Mort Kondacke said these carbon credit business are corrupt. They are selling more carbon credit than they are buying. It doesn't take a degree to see what this is all about. So let them pass Cap & Trade we'll loose more than money and jobs.
