Do you see the systematic, "progressive" attack on the meaning and use of words here The correct path is to prevent the government from EVER using the term marriage again. Let Big Brother use the term "civil union" in ALL its "permits." We'll keep our "marriage" as it was, thank you. But, no, that would mean "progressives" allowing us to follow our "old" ways. We, the People, don't need to see statistics to see what our own eyes are telling us. Let me take you to Lake Tahoe, CA. Lake Tahoe has never recovered from the Tech Boom, which was followed by the rise of Native Amerikan Casinos. Once upon a time, on ANY summer weekend, early in the morning you would hear a symphony of ski boats roaring around the lake as they took advantage of the lake's placid early hours. Today, the traffic jams are gone. The boats sit in storage. And another corner of Amerika that was once filled with happy Americans spending their wealth sits in mothballs. The leadership of the Democratic Party should be considered an enemy of the state. NO law or social more will come between them and one single vote. My HP G56 laptop is a piece of garbage. HP took the beauty and power of Compaq know-how (remember the ahead-of-its-time Presario?) and choked the living s**t out of it. HP, Yahoo and Facebook should tell Amerika that something is not quite right in Ye Olde Silicone Valley.

The absurdity in this is why ANYONE in the State Legislature is concerned about this issue at this time when the state's finances ARE going off a cliff. The funny thing is that our local news make every effort possible to COMPLETELY ignore state politics. Instead, they religiously follow the NYTimes daily template and obsess over Lady Gaga, those "mean" Republicans, and what was on David Letterman last night. California's entrenched "local" media has totally abrogated its mission to be our watchdog for ALL levels of government. You would think that would mean giving extra focus to local and state issues. Nope. I curse them ALL.

The problem is simple, Every year, our high schools graduate another generation of adults. One of their newly acquired rights is the ability to make enforceable contracts. Unfortunately, our high schools teach either abstract math formulas or childish word problems about trains going from Denver to El Paso. These new adults know nothing about how the world is ready to pick their pockets every which way to Sunday. Nor have they been given the tools to effectively negotiate business transactions. Paying taxes is another arena where Americans have no clue where the tax code is "coming from" and who it is really written for. Once again, Government fails us MISERABLY.

The key takeaway from this pathetic episode is how corrupt the entire Affirmative Action "industry" is. If your an educated "progressive," then it's OK to scam the system any which way you can. I'll never forget one day hiking and hearing a group of "educators" going on and on about the wonderful universe of grants that they can receive and how to do it right. I can just imagine Warren's mischievous glee as she checked off her "minority" status. She probably was shocked how everyone in the process winked and grinned at her "ingenuity." College has become a welfare state for government employees. The notion that one could ever receive a balanced education from such a cesspool of scam artists and charlatans is losing even its comical aspect.
