That's OK Chris, I am very comfortable calling you a Jack*ss! As both an airman and a soldier (prior Air National Guard, current Army Guard), whenever I see someone make this much of a fool of themselves I have to remember that my oath of enlistment is to the Constitution and not to any person or persons.

I have to agree with the comments posted by the veterans on this topic about the issues with the VA. I have said on more than one occasion that I would rather die than end up in a VA hospital. I am an Air Force veteran and am currently in the Army National Guard and have also worked in VA hospitals in my civilian job. One of the facilities I worked in was relatively modern, but one in the Chicago area did not impress me at all. While the staff at these hospitals were professional, I could tell there was a certain level of frustration with the bureaucracy that got in the way of patient care.
Yeah, don't forget about the subsidized cell phone service. Also, this country is one of the few places on earth where you will find overweight poor people.
You know, it always cracks me up to see a Democrat try to make Klan accusations against a conservative...............especially considering that the KKK was founded by Democrats to terrorize freed slaves and Republicans and that the only member of the U.S. Senate in recent history to have been a Grand Kleagle for a Klavern was Robert C. "Sheets" Byrd who was...........wait for it..........A DEMOCRAT!
Hey stupid, I'm in the military and I can tell you from personal experience serving under two democratic presidents and 1 republican president, I ALWAYS got bigger annual raises under Bush than I did under Clinton or Obama. It was not even close! By the way, if Bush would have "floated" the idea of making a veteran's private insurance pay for a service related injury, you slobbering liberals would have never let the issue die. But since your lord and savior proposed it, you will try to cover it up and defend him at all costs. Go to hell and quit trying to claim that you care about us, we don't need you or your support!
Hey, come one now........I am one of the most conservative people you will ever meet and I have to take exception to your comments regarding one of my favorite indulgences..........SPAM :) I gave my late brother (an Army veteran) a can of Spam for Christmas on more than one occasion since we all know that soldiers ate that stuff morning, noon, and night back in the day.

Gerson,
You are a true idiot. Those eight Congressmen need to be given primary opponents to teach them a lesson. As far as driving innovation, I work in the electrical industry so I know a thing or two about this. Wind is a pipe dream and anyone who thinks solar can work is smoking crack. The one source that could work reliably is nuclear and our Demo-crap friends won't let us build plants. Until someone comes up with a real plan that includes PRACTICAL solutions, don't waste our time by apologizing for eight cowards who would rather be popular than protect the interests of American families and businesses.

I want to see this jack*ss gone myself. I remember his idiotic program to provide a "free" college education to Indiana high school students that went from being a merit-based program for kids who did the right thing to being a typical liberal wealth transfer scheme. I have to work my butt off to send other people's kids to college and then have to struggle to put my daughter through college. In addition, this knucklehead and his successor O'Bannon ran the state into deficit (neat trick considering that Indiana has a balanced budget amendment)and, despite all of the complaints I have heard about Mitch Daniels, at least he put the state back into solvency. Besides, this idiot Bayh also approved casino gaming, which hasn't worked out...
