Ed52; I couldn't agree more! My wife thought I was paranoid with my retort of: "I would much prefer having & NEVER needing my gun, than EVER needing & not having it with me". I used past tense when describing her "feelings". This changed after the arrest of a punk that had burglarized our car at the wrong time. The police officer taking the report told my wife almost to the word what I had always told her. That "only good guys with guns" can solve the problem would be obvious to anyone not perverted by what passes as elite education in this country today. I am only one man, but Mr. Colt 1911 .45, and Mr. Baretta 92F 9mm., have always been helpful friends. In my opinion, I would be less of a man to NOT protect my family.
