I admit I only remain on the address list of this newsletter to keep up with how delusional the American man- and woman-on-the-street have become.

If we had any hope of ever again returning to sustainable productivity and humanity, it is slowly being wrenched from our grasp by me-first Americans. Returning to our roots and sustainability would require huge sacrifice in every facet of modern endeavor, on every front and talking point. I don't see it. Not even close.

I see far fewer than a voting majority willing to do this, and getting fewer with each passing day. Americans are more and more becoming the exact opposite of willing to sacrifice. Unless something like the financial meltdown changes the landscape of the...
