Shirley Sherrod and the Left's War on Fox News
'Tis a shame the left can't think in logical fashion, a real shame. Obama's poll standing tanks: call Conservatives racists. NAACP allows speaker to praise a preacher and his thug friends for beating up a Black entreprenuer (he made a fortune selling Obama buttons in 2008, but misjudged his audience and was selling buttons with "The Audacity of Dope" -- Obama smoking a joint -- message. So the NAACP speaker praises the thugs and calls the victim an Uncle Tom.
People notice the NAACP and Obama didn't jump on the Black panthers for voter intimidation -- oops, we goofed, call conservatives and TEA Party racists. Having no sensible argument for their ignorant policies, the left continually cries "racism" and uses violence. ...
It’s Got to Suck to be a Climavangelist!
The Twenty-First Century Whigs?
Unfortunately, the Republican Party may well be on its death bed. Numerous studies have shown that Americans tie the Republican party to these adjectives six times as often as they do to the Democrats:
"old-fashioned"
"fussy"
"intolerant"
"hypocritical"
"racist"
but are only 50% more likely to consider Republicans "More fiscally responsible" than the Democrats.
These things happen when a party abandons its highest principles . . .
1. At third place in a two-horse race (lagging well behind both Democrats and Independents in America’s allegiance) and with slightly less than 26% of the country supporting them the Republican Party needs to make a major shift in strategy IF it hopes to...
The Twenty-First Century Whigs?
4. The Republican Party needs to realize that the four single most Republican documents in America’s history are Patrick Henry’s two famous speeches before the Virginia House of Burgess (1765 “If this be Treason . . .” and 1775 “Give me LIBERTY or give me death); the Declaration of Independence and most particularly the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution.
5. And...
The Twenty-First Century Whigs?
And why do we not already have an abominable Obamacare version before us, why has the house bill NOT passed? Because some very fiscally conservative and conscientious Blue-Dog Democrats have fought it tooth and nail. If the Republican Party will use...
3 Reasons Why A Successful Third Party Wouldn't Solve Anything
If the Republicans won't move themselves to a more reasonable stance, they will be replaced like the Whigs.
You can't call yourself "defenders of the constitution" when typically three of your main planks defy "separation of church and state." This is not a "CHRISTIAN Country" this is a country with a good 15 different religions. The Pilgrims didn't abandon the old world and its persecutions to come here and become the new religious persecutors. Practice religion in church 168 hours if you want; but zero hours in the public schools. Practice religion in private or religious schools 168 hours, but not one minute in the public schools:defend the Constitution.
By the way: abortion, unfortunately is the law of the...
3 Reasons Why A Successful Third Party Wouldn't Solve Anything
The logic is much better and the facts are factual in these two blogs:

First off the Whigs were NOT in favor of slavery; they just had too many delegates and other bigwigs who were just gutless and really only committed to a few conservative issues....
A Positive Balance
Shame on you George Will, you're usually so great. Not only was Ted Kennedy a craven coward who's main-misadventure robbed his dead brother of much of the glory deserved when men walked upon the moon days later . . . but he was a mental midget even by liberal standards.
He had a great knack for spending and wasting our money on his idiotic programs. AMEN!
5 Liberal Lies About Obamacare
You almost GOT IT RIGHT, John
But you missed a bit on this one, you're only seeing the forest (the factors that would convince conservatives to fight against Obamacare); if you'll see the whole forest (why all intelligent Americans of conscience ought to decry this terrible piece of legislation) your voice will be heard further and more clearly. Here's what I mean:
