A US Senator says this? What is wrong with that picture... It is his job to protect and defend the constitution of the US... and that to me would mean that he would have to support the idea of border security. But somehow he thinks we need to be nurse maid to those around the world who don't want to follow the process to join us. But seeing how he and his paly Harry Reid are following the rules in the Senae and laws that they have do pass a budget... this is consistent with Chuck as an individual. He is a complete embarrassment as one of my senators.

When Schumer swore to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution, he only meant the parts that he agrees with, not the total package. After all, the Constitution is a "flawed" document written by old white dead guys.

The bipartisan immigration reform plan introduced by eight senators earlier this week included two major things: The first being border security and enforcement of the law. The second, giving 11 million illegal immigrants a new path to citizenship. In order to prevent another 1986, when Ronald Reagan traded amnesty for a false promise of border security, and in order to move forward in a bipartisan fashion, the enforcement part of the plan must take place.
